whitney houston tombstoneWhitney Houston the world so lovingly misses her beautiful graceful voice. The artist was born on August 9, 1963 and died on February 11, 2012. To honor her memory her tombstone has been engraved with her famous song ” I Will Always Love You”.

To a known a fact Interestingly, while we all know that Whitney made “I Will Always Love You” a famous song in “The Bodyguard“, but to add to another known fact it was actually written, and originally performed, by all time country singer Dolly Parton.

Whitney’s grave is located in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey next to her father. It seems as though she has been dead for over a year and with all the money her family has, her grave has been vacant up until this point of receiving the engraved tombstone.  The words on the tombstone are the epitaph on the new heart-shaped marker reads:

Whitney E. Houston Aug. 9, 1963 – Feb. 11 2012 … THE VOICE  along with the script ” ‘I Will Always Love You.” Even though there were many more famous songs sung by Whitney not all of them she wrote. The song chosen was a great choice, even though there many other great choices to choose from, whether they were written by her or not. We miss you Whitney… Gone but Never Forgotten.
