The First Lady made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, an episode that would be aired on Thursday (February 2). Ellen challenged Michelle Obama to a push up contest and the First Lady showed Ellen how fit she was and did 25 strong ones.

Ellen also asked Michelle is President Obama picks up his socks, a question that was sent in from a viewer via Facebook. The First Lady response was: “No, no. He doesn’t pick up his socks. He thinks he’s neat but he has people who help him. I’m like, ‘It’s not you that’s neat. It’s the people who pick up your socks. Those are the neat people,” she shared with the audience.

She continued by pointing out another situation in which she doesn’t give the president neat points, she said: “When we’re in Chicago, his idea of putting his suit away was hanging it on the edge of the door,” Michelle added. “So we would have jackets on the edges of the door. It’s like there’s a hanger. But no, he doesn’t get neat points.”

In a new White House Family portrait revealed by the Obama Family, President Barrack Obama poses with his family; the First Lady Michelle and their daughters Malia and Sasha Obama. The Portrait was revealed just in time for the upcoming holidays, meaning it will be the gift that many receive this Christmas.

The last time the First Family posed for a family portrait was back in 2009, so the White House thought it was about time for an update, taking into consideration that it has been two years and 13-year-old Malia and 10-year-old Sasha have grown so much. The photo was captured last Sunday by well known Photojournalist Pete Souza, it shows the First Family sitting together in the Oval Office with their biggest smiles ever.

President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama was not invited to the Royal Wedding but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently met with the Obamas at the Buckingham Palace today May 24, 2011 in London, England. The president and his first lady was in the United Kingdom on a two day visit when they met for a four-way chat. The president also met with the Queen where he was treated like royalty by the Queen, she invited the president and his wife to stay in the 6-room suite at Buckingham Palace where Kate and William spent their wedding night.

Check out the president’s wife as she shows off a few movies, doing to Dougie to Beyonce’s new song “Move Your Body”. The first lady made a surprise visit to the Alice Deal Middle School in Tenleytown to promote her nationwide “Let’s Move” initiative. As soon as she arrived a dance party took place where she showed off how well she knew the Dougie, the Running Man and the Cha-Cha. She also talked a little bit on how much she likes Beyonce:

The students at the educational institute participated by working out to Beyoncé’s work out video. Just as she arrived they were warming up to “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. She danced from the sideline as she didn’t want to embarrass herself as she might not know all the moves, but from the video I just watched, she did a good job.
