Betty White Turns 90
The living legend Betty White celebrates her 90th birthday today and we are celebrating with you as well Betty. Born July 17, 1922 in Oak Park, Illinois, Betty and her family moved to Los Angeles, California during the Great Depression that started approximately 1929, she attended Horace Mann School in Beverly Hills, California, and Beverly Hills High School. She discovered her interest in performing after she played the lead role in a graduation play at Horace Mann School.

White started out modeling and then found her first professional acting job at the Bliss Hayden Little Theatre. She also worked in radio for a bit where she got her own radio show, called The Betty White Show. Betty made her way into the heart of Hollywood in her early years but got a much more popular actress after getting the role of Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls. Hope you have the most wonderful and happy birthday Betty White and we wish you may more.

A 90-minute “A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl,” was aired lastnight on NBC, on the eve of the TV icon’s milestone.
