Ryan Murphy welcomes Son via Surrogate Mother

Ryan Murphy welcomes SonAmerican screenwriter and producer, Ryan Murphy who celebrated his birthday on November 30th has another reason to be happy this holiday season, as he’s now a father for the first time. The Glee producer welcomed his son Logan Phineas Miller Murphy into the world on the morning of December 24, 2012… who was born via a surrogate mother.

The news was made public by E! and now the the Nip/Tuck, American Horror Story and Glee creator is now celebrating his son’s arrival. The producer and his partner David Miller also sent out a birth announcement, welcoming little Logan who was born weighing 6.6 pounds and measured 21-inches in length.

The 47-year-old television screenwriter was born in Indianapolis, he is known and received awards for creating/co-creating the television series Popular, Nip/Tuck, Glee, American Horror Story, and The New Normal.
