O.J. Simpson might be incarcerated but that’s certainly not stopping the IRS from filing new tax liens against him. The former American football player and actor just had another tax lien filed against him by the federal government to the tune of $63,413.79.
The lien was filed in Florida earlier this month, claiming that Simpson still needs to pay income taxes from the year 2006. This only sinks O.J. deeper into his already huge pool of debt, he already has federal liens against him totaling over $190,000 for the years 2007 to 2011.
The state of California also issued a tax lien against him for $318,566.04 for the year 2000, which brings his total debt in taxes to both federal and state to a whopping sum of $571,979.83, but what can they do about him not paying throw him in prison? no he’s already there.
