Lamar Odom just got some bad news after it has been alleged that he’s separated from his wife Khloe Kardashian, apart from his separation, Odom was just placed on the inactive list and will not play for the Mavericks. Noone knows why he was given an early departure from the team but Donnie Nelson, General manager for the team said it’s been a difficult year for Odom, the team and fans. He continued by saying:
The timing is what it is. These things never come at the best of times, so we felt with the playoff push coming up it was probably in everyone’s interest,” Nelson said.
“Look, it’s been a frustrating situation. Lamar hasn’t performed like he wants to perform, is capable of performing. He’s dealt with a lot of personal issues, and at this point, we need to be able to count on some folks. It’s never easy to do these things. We just need to move on.
The Dallas Maverick is presently raked at seventh spot in the Western Conference standings and with only nine games to go in the season, the team seems to believe they can make it to the playoffs without Lamar Odom. What are your thoughts on the team’s decision to drop Lamar Odom?
