Jennifer Hudson was given the honor of performing for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama three times, three separate Inaugural Ball appearances in Washington D.C on Monday.
The 31-year-old singer/actress covered Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” for the couple’s first dance of the night at the Commander in Chief’s Ball, which took place at the Convention Center.
If you can recall, a video of the president belting out a line from the song during a fundraiser in Harlem went viral last year. The Weight Watchers spokesperson performed for the first family wearing a cowl neck black gown and sparkly platform high heels, highlighting her new slender figure.
Watch the video of Jennifer Hudson’s performance as the president and the first lady had their first dance at the presidential Inaugural Ball in Washington D.C. yesterday (Jan 21).
