After learning that Hulk Hogan has dismissed his $100 Million dollar lawsuit against Gawker in federal court without prejudice last month, TMZ has learned that Hogan has went ahead and refiled the lawsuit in Florida state court.
The reason why the former wrestler moved the case is because it will cost him less in the long run. According to one of the former wrestler’s attorney; this will allow his client to deal with less paperwork and lawyer fees.
This also happens to be the same court system in which Hogan sued Heather Clem, his sex tape co-star, for allegedly playing a role in leaking the footage to the public. Hogan initially sued Gawker in October after a 60-second long clip of him getting it on with Clem went viral.
The incident took place some mere six years ago, he also sued his former best friend Bubba the Love Sponge, but Bubba proceeded to apologize and that case was dropped from court.
