Diddy and Jay-Z are Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists

Many of the rappers in the game claims to “get money”, but only a handful of rappers are actually making racks on racks on racks.

In 2011, Jay-Z was listed as Forbes 2011 Hip-Hop Cash King with an income of $37 million for the 2011 fiscal year, his biggest contender for the crown of Hip-Hop’s Cash King was none other than Sean “Diddy” Combs himself with a $35 million income.

It’s now 2012 and Forbes has put together a new list with the wealthiest male rappers in the game and the name that tops the list is Sean “Diddy” Combs who is worth upwards of half a billion dollars, according to Forbes’ calculations Diddy is worth an estimated $550 Million.

He has nothing to thank for the title than his lucrative businesses and brands which includes his Ciroc Vodka deal, his cable network station Revolt, his Bad Boy record label and Sean John clothing line. $110 Million 50 Cent rounds out the top five wealthiest hip-hop artists with his $100 Million Vitamin Water deal in 2007 plus his investments in SMS headphones and Street King energy drink.
