“The Voice” judge Cee Lo Green was back in court on Wednesday (Nov 20) the answer to charges of drug possession after it was alleged that he slipped the drug ecstasy to his date while having dinner.
Cee Lo whose original name is Thomas DeCarlo Calloway was cleared of Sexual Assault charges in his last appearance, however he was back in court after prosecutors charged him with one felony count of furnishing a controlled substance.
He entered a “not guilty” plead and posted a $30,000 bail bond. Green spoke only once during a brief arraignment hearing to acknowledge he understood the court’s scheduling of his case which has been postponed until Jan. 16, 2014.
The “Forget You” singer showed up for court in a full black, he emerge from a black Suburban, clad in black with a hoodie flipped up and shades on, and didn’t appear concerned when he left the court house. Green could face up to four years in prison if found guilty of the charges against him.
