Cacee Cobb, best friend and former assistant to Jessica Simpson recently got married, and the lucky man that got her hand is Donald Faison from the comedy series Scrubs. The couple got married at a private house in Los Angeles on Saturday (December 15th).

Cacee is the godmother of Jessica Simpson’s baby girl Maxwell, and will probably be granted the opportunity to be the same to the next baby on the way. Jessica was a bridesmaid in Cacee’s wedding and was escorted down the aisle by Faison’s own best friend and Scrubs costar Zach Braff.

According to a source that was invited to the event, there were 75 friends and family members attending the ceremony, that took place under a tent with white-twinkling lights and a gospel choir, and lasted about 20 minutes.

In addition to Gloria Govan and her NBA baller Matt Barnes slipping off to get married in Las Vegas, NBA Baller Amar’e Stoudemire and his fiance Alexis Welch made their love official, when they got married on 12-12-12.

The couple thought 12-12-12 would be the perfect day to get hitched and they did it secretly, on the roof deck of their apartment. The couple showed off their wedding bands on twitter, Amar’e wrote: “12.12.12 now has a special & spiritual meaning for us…”

According to reports, the ceremony was very intimate, with only 12 guests (get, 12-12-12?), including their three children and family. Unlike Gloria and Matt, Alexis and Amar’e got dressed up like traditional weddings… Alexis wore a long, slim-fitting, custom made wedding dress with no train, while Amar’e wore a Calvin Klein suit and both rings were designed by Shayan Afshar.

Reality television really wanted a part of Gloria Govan and her man Matt Barnes wedding ceremony, but the couple secretly flew to Las Vegas and got married. It was two years after their first wedding was canceled and turned into an intimate ceremony with a handful of friends and family.

The couple wanted no cameras, no outsiders, just themselves and a handful of close family to share in their special day. It wasn’t a traditional event where all the attention was focused on the bride, she admits that it turned into a family reunion and birthday party.

“I think that got really misconstrued. It wasn’t that I went to Vegas to get married,” Gloria explained to Sister 2 Sister Magazine, sharing that the wedding went down during a family get-together and also stating that she got married in Jeans and a tank top.

True Blood actress Evan Rachel Wood got hitched to her actor fiancee Jamie Bell in a small matrimonial ceremony on Tuesday (October 30th) in California. The wedding was attended only by close friends and family members according to Wood’s representative.

The couple first met about 7 years ago when they were both on set of Green Day’s music video for “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” The couple had an on/off relationship and despite Wood’s 2010 engagement to Marilyn Manson, the couple still found their way back to each other.

“Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelmed,” Wood Tweeted in regard to the marriage. The couple initially revealed their plans to tie the knot back in January and ten months later they made it official.
