Charles Angel actress, Drew Barrymore is now a mother for the first time. The 37-years-old and her husband Will Kopelman revealed yesterday that they welcomed their first child into the world last Wednesday.

“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family,” Barrymore and Kopelman told People in a statement.

The couple also extended thank you’s to the media for respecting their privacy during this very special occasion in their lives saying: “Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”

The couple recently got married on June 2nd at her Montecito, California residence and honeymooned in Big Sur and now they have another reason to continue the celebration.
