After being separated for over a year, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore is still legally married and according to what sources told The New York Post, the only reason why this is, what else but money. The ex-couple is “trying to negotiate a settlement out of court and out of the public eye,” this insider says, but Kutcher is now one of the highest-paid actors on television.

The “Two and a Half Men” actor earned substantially more during the final years of their marriage, but doesn’t want to pay a large settlement, according to the source. As a result of failing to settle outside of court, the discussion could boil over into a public court battle.

Moore and Kutcher were married for six years, but split last year after rumors of the latter’s infidelity went public. Since the separation it has been revealed that Kutcher have been seeing Rihanna quietly and more publicly his ridiculously gorgeous former That 70s Show costar, Mila Kunis.
