Actress/model Eva Mendes also made a red carpet appearance at the 2012 Met Ball Gala which was held in New York at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute on Monday. The “Fast Five” actress smiled for the cameras as she made her red carpet arrival in a strapless red Prada gown.

Mendes was just one of the many celebrities that showed up to celebrate at the fashionable and star-studded event that honored fashion designers, Miuccia Prada and Elsa Schiaparelli with the debut of the new “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Concersations” Exhibit at the museum.
