Def Jam Executive and YMCMB Artist, DJ Khaled and his crew are counting their blessings this morning as they all encountered a near death experience on Friday night, when their tour bus they were traveling in, burst into flames and exploded on the side of a highway.

The “We The Best” rapper tweeted the news to his fans which also explains to them why he had to cancel his concert that was scheduled for the same night Orlando, Florida.

He also used the same medium to apologize for not being able to keep his schedule which included a performance at the 2012 Grad Bash. The rapper tweeted:

I’m sry I couldn’t make it 2 grad bash it was out my control my tour bus caught on fire & blew up! The gd thing me & my team is ok!

In addition to his apology and explanation, the rapper also tweeted a photo of the fiery inferno along the highway which was taken from a safe distance away. DJ Khaled and his entourage escape the burning shuttle unharmed but there’s no details available on how the fire started.
