Two British Passengers Fight on a Virgin Atlantic Flight to Jamaica

Two British citizens are now in police custody in Jamaica following an incident that took place on a Virgin Atlantic flight while it was on its way from the London Gatwick Airport to the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica. The incident took place on Monday afternoon between a male and a female which has both been arrested and charged in connection with what is said to have been an air rage incident. They are identified as Jason Dixon and Danielle Bishop both of the United Kingdom, they are booked to appear in the Corporate Area Criminal Court today.
The whole incident took place after Mr. Dixon became intoxicated during the flight and as the aircraft entered Jamaican airspace he became unruly and boisterous. It is alleged that he had a confrontation with Miss Bishop which turned into a fight inside the aircraft. The fight caused more than £5,000 worth of damage to the aircraft’s interior, however none of the passengers were injured during the incident. When the Virgin Atlantic flight landed at the Norman Manley International Airport, both Mr. Dixon and Ms Bishop were immediately arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property.
