Rumor: Jackie Chan Dies but He’s Alive

Yesterday, Representatives of the Asian Actor took it to Twitter and Facebook to deny allegations that Jackie Chan had died from a Heart Attack. The EyeofJackieChan tweeted on Tuesday Morning “Jackie is alive and well. He did not suffer a heart attack and die,” according to articles published, it was quoted that a source from the Los Angeles hospital who said that the actor died while promoting Kung Fu Panda 2. Reports further stated that his heavy schedule “was causing extreme stress and putting too much pressure on his heart.”
“Jackie is fine and busy preparing for filming his next movie,” his Facebook page said. However he is just another of many celebrities who have been killed by social networking and media houses who are quick to publish news as soon as it is received without verifying.
I really think it is NOT funny as Heart Attack is a serious issue as it was only last year, Actor Jean Claude Van Damme suffered from a Heart Attack Rumor as well. The actor later came of Facebook to deny the speculations and said: “I read a rumor online about me suffering heart attack!! Please, do not believe all what you read from rumors on any unofficial JCVD sites.”
